Final Exam week is approaching and along with it inevitably comes two things: stress and major sleep deprivation. It is important, however, to remember a few important things so that you do not get overwhelmed:
First things first, use your planner to your advantage! Finals week will be so much easier if you have a clear view of what is going on in your life. Make sure to write down which exams you have each day and block out times for studying (and, of course, for breaks). Speaking of breaks, make sure you eat, and more importantly, eat foods that will not reduce the amount of energy you have. Yes, even I love the occasional junk food; however, during finals week, the more junk food you eat, the less amount of concentration you will have. If you don't have much time to grab a full meal, check out one of the vending machines with healthier options. This will make your stomach and your brain happier. The final tip is to make sure you schedule some time to relax. Whether that’s going out with friends, staying in to watch a movie, or going to the gym, you will feel much more motivated to focus on studying later in the day and allowing you to do your best on your exams.
Recap of the 3 Tips:
1. Plan your week out!
2. Eat full, healthy meals that will give your body energy!
3. Make sure to take time to relax!
Good luck!
